Team workspaces — share transcripts and AI summaries, stay encrypted
Create a workspace, invite colleagues by email, and share meeting notes, recordings, and documents your team can actually use — with per-member credit limits and end-to-end encryption.
One shared library for everything you capture
Create multiple workspaces
One per client, department, or project.
Invite by email
Members join via in-app notification; must have E2EE enabled.
Share any recording
Add existing projects or upload directly into a workspace.
Organize with folders
Workspace-scoped folders for shared projects.
Control credits
Monthly credit limit per member from the owner's pool.
Stay encrypted
WEK-based sharing; decrypt only on member devices.
Create, invite, share, collaborate
Create a workspace
Name it, optionally describe it — Marketing, Client X, Legal.
Invite teammates
Search email → send invite → they accept and receive encryption keys.
Share content
Pick a workspace when recording, or add from the ⋮ menu on any project.
Collaborate safely
Members read transcripts, run AI summaries, export — within your credit limits.

Owner, admin, member
Two ways to share
Pick the workspace in the upload dialog — record, URL import, document, and more.
Home or Transcript Viewer ⋮ menu → Add to Workspace. Removing it later won't delete your personal copy.
Share your credits with the team
Members run transcriptions and summaries from your credit pool — no separate purchase each. Set a monthly cap per member so one person can't burn through it all.
- Set a limit in Members → Credit limit
- Remove the cap anytime for unlimited draw (still bounded by your total)
- See each member's usage in the Members tab
When to keep it personal, when to share
Shared with the team — readable only by the team
Shared content is encrypted with a Workspace Encryption Key (WEK). When you invite someone, your app wraps that key for their device; they unlock it with their own PIN — same as personal data. If someone isn't invited or hasn't set up encryption, they see ciphertext, not your team's notes.
Members who join late can be re-issued the key by the owner or an admin.
Built for teams who share sensitive notes
Remote product team
Share sprint recordings and doc summaries in one workspace.
Agency / client work
Separate workspace per client; credit cap per freelancer.
Sales pod
Client call transcripts + AI recap templates in a shared library.
Privacy-sensitive teams
E2EE sharing without emailing audio or pasting into ChatGPT.
Questions, answered
What is a BetterBizz workspace?+
A shared team space for recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries, with optional credit limits and end-to-end encryption.
Who can create a workspace?+
Workspace creation is available in the app; full team collaboration (invites, credit assignment, team-scale usage) is included on Weekly and Yearly plans.
How do I invite someone?+
Open workspace → Members → Invite → search by email. They need a BetterBizz account and E2EE (PIN) setup.
Can members see everything I record?+
Only projects you share or upload into that workspace — not your personal library.
What is a credit limit (credit cap)?+
A monthly max credits a member can use from the owner's balance on workspace-tagged actions.
Are shared transcripts encrypted?+
Yes — workspace encryption (WEK). Only members with keys can decrypt on their devices.
Can I organize shared projects?+
Yes — create folders inside a workspace Recordings tab.
How do I add an existing recording to a workspace?+
Home or Transcript Viewer → ⋮ → Add to Workspace.
What happens if I delete a workspace?+
The team space is removed for everyone; your personal copies of recordings are kept.
Do I need extra seats to invite people?+
Each unique member across your workspaces may require a +1 workspace member add-on when you exceed included seats. Extra seats can be bought one-time for about $5 per seat — tap Buy more seats from the workspace when you hit the limit.
